You have decided to leave your current job and look for a new one. Write a letter to a friend. In your letter
• explain why you want to leave your current job
• what kind of job you are looking for
• ask for some help or advice
Dear Sudhir,
I trust you're having a good day.
I would like to let you know that I have decided to change my current job due to several reasons, which I will be explaining further in this letter.
One of the main reason behind the job change is that sometimes, I feel a bit stressed with the current office environment, because of the many other personal problems among my team members. One of my colleague, who is always ready to fight with other teammates, had asked me so many things about my family, which are not acceptable.
But, I'm looking forward to joining a multinational company where the office environment should be great. Moreover, as you know, I am working on financial projects for a long period of time and I always wanted to work on sales projects, so this time I have decided to find a new role in the sales department.
Furthermore, I'd like to ask you for some help in finding a relevant job in the sales department. If you have any advice for me, I'd be more than happy to listen to your suggestions. Being a good friend, I'm expecting some effective support from your end, so that I would be able to find jobs as soon as possible.
I can't wait to hear from you.
Best wishes,
John
