The graph illustrates how many research students (men and women) attended six different subjects in 2005. Overall, it is evident that natural science had the highest number of female attendance, while two subject mathematics and psychology ware the most preferable subjects among male students.
Generally, there were two subjects, mathematics and psychology, having the biggest number of male participants (200 each). Following that, was natural science, which had a similar number of the student on both sexes (200). Moreover, engineering and programming accounted for more male participants (150 each), compares to that of women (90 and 75 respectively). Lastly, linguistic was the lowest share of males attended (around 80).
Furthermore, psychology was among the top list of the subject chosen by women students, it accounted for around 175 participants, while linguistic observed below that of psychology subject, about 115 students. In addition, mathematics noted as the lowest number of female attendance, which was just below 50 students.
