Your family is moving to a new city. Write a letter to the real estate agency in your new city to enquire about a rental house.
In your letter, you should tell:
– explain when you are moving and the reason
– describe where you would like to live
– mention the type of house you need.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inquire about the advertisement for a rental property in today's newspaper. Since I will be moving to Singapore next month on account of employment, I am searching for suitable accommodation for a family of 4, including a baby.
Let explain my criteria. Firstly, I would like to live in the central area because, it is convenient to commute to office. Secondly, a play-school or a day-care center should be within the vicinity so that I can keep my baby there while I am at work. Thirdly, a hospital or 24/7 pharmacy close by will be advantageous in case of emergencies. Lastly, the area should neither be too noisy nor too isolated, and the neighborhood should be children friendly.
Furthermore, a 2 bedroom house, preferably with a balcony, is what we need. Although, it doesn't matter if it is an apartment or a villa, the rooms should be very spacious.
Please get in touch with me if you need further information.
Yours sincerely,
Mary Smith
