Rembrandts painting origin, whether it is actually rembrandts or not?
From the beginning to the end, passage and lecture discussing about the most famous painter Rembrandt's painting, whether the paint is actually painted by him or not. However, lecturer explaining conclusion made by painting expert that the painting is indeed Rembrandts.
First, the passage stated that there was unrelavent clothing attitude in painting which lead to conclusion that the paint might not Rembrandt's, which was in stark contrast to and refuted by the lecture. The lecturer states that unrelevant luxurious fur was painted hundred years after to refreshen the painting.
Secondly, according to the passage, there was unfitted light in woman' face while there was light absorbing dark fur. However, this theory is strongly dismissed by the lecturer. Before dark fur was written, there was light cloth and the cloth reflected color and illuminated the face.
Lastly, passage posited that even painting panel were different from Rembrandts, the lecture disagreed. Regardless, lecturer made point that several pieces of wood glued to make painting heavy after few years later. Moreover, some part of wood pieces were as same as Rembrandt's original painting.
Given the points clarified by the lecturer, there is no doubt that the passage has been proven untrue.
