You bought a music concert ticket. However, you are unable to go. So you want to offer the ticket to your friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• explain the concert
• why you are unable to go
• how can your friend receive the ticket
You should write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write your own addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Simon,
Hope you’re in good health. I am writing this letter to offer you passes of A.R.Rehman concert which is on 21st August 2019.
I have purchased concert tickets for me and my sister as we both are die hard fans of A.R. Rehman. It will be held in Jio garden at 6pm which is located at Bandra kurla complex, Mumbai. You will be aware that my podcasts is full of his songs and never miss any of his concert if it is in our town. Also my sister is a guitarist and she has one guitar which is signed by the great legend.
Due to some unavoidable circumstances, we will not be able to attend the show. My boss has just informed me that I’m going to be speaking at a International conference which is for two days starting from 21st August till 23rd August 2019 in Dubai. Also, my sister is going to attend her friend’s wedding.
So, I would like to ask if you’re interested to attend the concert. As I know, you are also great fan of this musician. If interested, I can handover the passes to you while leaving for the airport or you can collect it from my residence during the daytime.
Do let me know.
Best regards,
Tim Frank
