The pie charts below give data on the spending and consumption of resources by countries of the world and how the population is distributed.
Three pie charts illustrate the percentage of world expenditure, world population, and the rate of consumption of Resources in a university lecturer.
Overall, although Asia has the largest proportion of residents, the level of resource consumption is the biggest in USA and Europe. Population all around the world has a tendency to spend most their money on other needs and food, transport.
A glance at the pie chart of world spending reveals that most cost is paid for other stuff and food, and transport, at 40%, 24%, and 18% respectively. The demand on housing is just at 12%, which is twice as much as that of clothing, at 6%.
In addition, we can see that the percentage of Asian holds the lion’s share, at 57% ( the highest rank), followed by American and European, both at 14%, and the population of Africa is the third rank, at 10%, which is twice as much as that in other areas(5%). The striking feature is that while the population of Asian nations tops the list, the consumption of resources in USA and Europe takes the lead, at 60%, other regions all over the world account for 40%.
