The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
The line chart illustrates the six-month report of the inquiry number in the tourist information center in 2011. Overall, the figures for phone and personal inquiries increased during the period and, the face to face method accounted for the biggest number of tourist inquiries.
In the first month, the figure of phone inquiries was observed as the highest among the three. It stood at around 900 calls and, slightly decreased to about 800 in February. Following which, the number rose moderately in March, precisely a fourth that of in February and, remained unchanged in the following month (April). Then, the tourist inquiries figure significantly increased and, finished the period at almost two-fold that of the initial figure.
Face to face inquiries accounted as the lowest figure in the first month. It began just above 400 in january and, increased at around 100 per month in the next two month. Afterward, the figure was seen a substantial increase and, reached the peak number in june (around 1900). In addition, although the letter or email inquiries were in second place in january (accounted just below 800), the figure fell to more than a half in june.
