You want a book that you cannot find. Later you found it and it is available in a bookstore in another city. Write a letter to the manager of bookstore.
In your letter, you should:
give details of book
say why you need this book
tell how you will pay for it.
Dear sir/ madam,
I am writing to ask you for a favor. I am interested in buying a book from your bookstore. Can you ship it to my address as I reside in a different city than yours?
Let me explain in detail. From the past couple of months, I have been looking for a complete set of the book “Chronicles of Narnia” written by C.S.Weiss. After my constant search through my websites, I came to know that your bookstore has the first edition of the book signed by the author.
The book is a great read. The writer’s vision simply takes you on a ride to explore the magical land of Narnia. When I read it, I was completely mesmerized by the beauty of its writing. That’s why I want my niece to have it and it’s her 12th birthday next month. It would give me enormous joy if she could have the book on her special day.
I would really appreciate it if you could send me the complete set by this week, as I have to ship it further to my sister’s house. You can send me your account details along with e-bill and courier details, so that I can make the payment through net banking if you accept that, otherwise let me know the proper channel.
I will look forward to your response.
Thanks in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Rohit
