A friend has agreed to look after your house and pet while you are on holiday. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
• give contact details for when you are away
• give instructions about how to care for your pet
• describe other household duties
Dear Jimmy,
I’m so grateful to you for showing your readiness to look after my house and Rocky while I’ll be in UK. I’m writing to guide you a bit about various things to be taken care at the home.
Firstly, you can contact me on the Email address written below. Secondly, you can also send me text messages on my UK number if internet would be out of access during my trip to hills. I’ll try to respond you quickly. Although Rocky is well-trained and mannered dog, you may face difficulty in giving him shower. Actually, he is used to taking shower on alternate days otherwise becomes furious. Moreover, his food packet is placed in the first cabinet of the kitchen; he does breakfast around 7 am.
Besides Rocky, you’ll have to check my mail box everyday since it gets filled with newsletters and advertisements. If you find any mail other than these, place it on kitchen shelf. Please water other plants once a week whereas the plant placed in kitchen window needs to be watered twice a week.
Undoubtedly, you’re life savior; I’m so thankful to you for covering me during my absence.
Love.
Jonny.
