The line graph compares the percentage of people in three countries who used the Internet between 1999 and 2009.
The chart gives information regarding the number of Internet users over the total population of America, Canada, and Mexico between 1999 and 2009.
Overall, there were remarkable increases in the proportion of Internet users in all three countries, and Canada experienced the fastest growth in Internet usage.
At the beginning of the period, American was the leading country in the percentage of Internet users, followed by Canada, and Mexico ranked lowest. Over 10 years, although Internet access appeared to increase stably in Mexico, the country’s data was still far behind America and Canada with only about 40% population using the Internet. In contrast, there was a sharp rise in the pattern of Canada during this time, turning it into the one with the highest Internet users as percentage of the population after passing America in 2002. By the period end, Canada had a 100% population having Internet access whereas America only had around 80%.
