you recently attend a meeting at a hotel. when you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
say where you think you left papers
explain why they are so important
tell the manager what you want him/her to do
Dear Sir. Or Madam;
I am writing with regard to some vital documents that I have misplaced in the room I stayed in at your hotel last week. One of my colleagues and I were at your hotel to have a meeting with our company consultant, Dr. Norbert Czech, from 24th to 26th October.
My room number was 718 on the 4th floor and I think that I forgot to collect all my stuff before checking out since our meeting finished at 11 AM and our flight was at 2 PM, so we had to leave the hotel in hurry. Certainly, they are in the room, perhaps in the drawer that was placed beside my bed.
As I mentioned, those papers are considered important and if any of our opponents access them, a huge amount of our crucial data will be public, which brings a new set of concerns. They include some important information about most of the ongoing projects. Most of them are original test reports and unfortunately, there is not any copy of them.
Now, I am writing to ask if you are so kind as to check the room to see if those documents are there or they might be collected by cleaning staff. Please give me a call once you have them. I arrange someone to collect them for me or perhaps I fly to receive it personally.
I hope my request will not inconvenience you too much.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Yalda Asgari.
