According to the lecture, the professor refutes all the points which are mentioned in the passage ,about communal online encyclopedias.She provides all the necessary information to refuse the points related to the online encyclopedias.
Firstly , the reading passage argue that , the online encyclopedias are not written by the expert so that they are not follow academic standard .The professor says that, if the tradition encyclopedias contain any errors then it will go many decay. There is no modification possible instanly still new addtion of encyclopedias in market.This is not happened with online encyclopedias.
Secondly,the passage talk about the malious attacks on online encyclopedias. That they change the original contains and delete the information by hacker. So they are not correct. This not the case according to the professor because online encyclopedias provided with securities. They are only in read format .So no one can chage it without authorized permission. The second fact is that there are the advance editorial which kept the eye on malious data. So this is not true that, online encyclopedias is not correct.
The last thing is that the ,passage mentioned that the online encyclopedias provide lots of unnecessary information so that school students get confued. It totally refute by professor saying that this is main advantage of online encyclopedias that they have huge space to provide more and important infomation in spectacular ways which is not possible with traditional one. They have limit of space.
So finally the professor contradict all the points mentioned in the passage.
