The diagrams demonstrate how the Earth's temperature is affected by the greenhouse effects through three stages.
Overall, the temperature of the Earth is mainly affected by the radiated heat that released by the Sun, and there are clouds and atmosphere that play an important role to decide how many percentages of these radiations come towards to Earth's surface and is called as greenhouse gases.
In particular, during the day, the Sun release UV radiation towards the Earth. These radiations then would be 20% scattered and reflected by clouds. The atmosphere would scatter only 6% of the heat radiation, whereas 19% of the Sun radiation would be absorbed by clouds and atmosphere. Eventually, the 51% left from these radiations reach and are absorbed by the Earth, therefore, warming its temperatures.
However, at night, the radiation from the sun heats the Earth thus decreased and make the heat loss. Meanwhile, the greenhouse gases that have existed in the atmosphere trap and reflect heat back to the Earth and creating suitable temperatures for life on Earth. Next, greenhouse gases would increase redundantly as pollution rise from burning fossil fuels and the smoke of factories that can warm the temperature of Earth. Consequently, the weather of Earth would become worse.
