Dear Sir / Ma'am,
Last week, 24th of July 2000 I had visited your store to buy a Plasma Line TV along with my family which includes my 3 children of age 9 to 12. I am writing to you, for bringing it to your notice and immediate action, that your store was screening offensive content when there was many minors present at the store, particularly the TV section.
I understand that your store sells variety of electronic stuff catered to the adult market but owing to the generalized non-age restrictive customers visit to your place I was expecting some kind of screening regulation in accordance to the national laws for public screening. I was shocked to see such explicit and offensive content. I approached to your floor supervisor and enquired about it who strongly stated that it is the customers mistake to bring in children along with them.
Therefore, I thought I had to write to you and express my concerns and the mental agony I had to go through because of your floor supervisor. I checked all the laws pertaining to the stores for TV screening it does state that you have to follow all the regulations accordance with public screening. So, I expect your action in reprimanding your staff to exhibit rudeness and irresponsible behaviour, and bring in strict policies to curb such screenings in future.
Thanking you
Sincerely,
Mark.
