You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend.
In your letter:
• say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
• explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
• suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Dear Ridhi,
How are you? Hope this letter finds you well and I am writing this in response to your letter asking about advice on whether to join a job or continue to study further.
As far as my knowledge, I know you are interested in doing practical work instead of writing long homework assignments hence, as per my opinion you should join a job. Additionally, I know that you want to study business entrepreneurs and so I think this will give you an opportunity to closely analyze the market demand.
I have directly joined the university for my further studies without analyzing anything and the result is I have not got my desired job still. Therefore, with my experience, I can certainly say that this drop will be valuable for your further higher studies. This will teach you critical thinking skills, time management, communication skills, and especially presentation skills, moreover, open doors for better future opportunities.
I feel that you should join as a customer care representative in any retail company or any hotel because it will make you interact will different kinds of people and know the customer concerns. This will definitely benefit in future jobs and higher studies.
I hope you would like my advice and write me back if there is any other concern.
Warm Regards,
Jot
