You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
- say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
- explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
- suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear___,
Dear Smith,
I hope you are doing well. I recently got your letter seeking advice on your future plans. I feel very happy to know that you still remember me as a good friend.
As far as I know, you are an average student in writing exams who always gets just passing grades. Once you told me that, you are doing school only for the certificates. Hence, i don't think you will enjoy your rest of the college life because you feel very stress in writing exams.
However, i know computer skill is your perk in your life. You remember that at school while all student are struggling to get the concept of designing, you did very well and got applause. I can see very bright future in graphic designing. At first, it can take time to get new job as expected but don't get hopeless and try to find the job you are into. I know you will earn good income as well good skill in future.
Hope you are more clear in your vision now.
Have a nice day.
Thank you.
Your faithfully
Asmita
