The advantages and disadvantages of using facebook as a means of online instruction
At the end of 2019, the world faced the Covid-19 pandemic. In these days, schools are forced to close and students get used to online learning so they do not lose knowledge. There is a lot of software used by teachers, one of them is Facebook.
After experiencing it, I realized that Facebook is very useful for online learning. First, it is convenience. Worldwide, more than 2 billion people use Facebook. In Vietnam, there are also many Facebook users, mostly young people. In addition, when learning on this social network, teachers can give lectures in groups and all students can read and respond in the comments.
However, learning online via Facebook also brings some disadvantages. We can leak information because Facebook is not 100% secure. Besides, we may have difficulty finding the material that the teacher has previously posted.
In short, any tool has its advantages and disadvantages, but we have had a great experience with this online learning. I believe that this can become a method of learning in parallel with classroom learning.
