The chart below shows the value of one's country's exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
The charts compare the amount of revenue and the change rate of export of the country in five different sectors between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, the main source of export revenue was petroleum products in the years of 2015 and 2016, while textiles experienced the highest increase in export. Only decreased gems and jewelry throughout the whole period.
In 2015, petroleum products were the chief source of income, at nearly 61 billion before increasing to about 63 billion in 2016. In the first year, Engineered goods and textiles were at roughly 56 billion and around 36 billion in turn. But they rose by 6 billion each the following year. Only sector of gems and jewellery saw decrease, from nearly 43 billion to 41 billion. There was little increase in agriculture products, from 31 billion to 31.5 billion.
When it comes to revenue rate of export, textiles had 15.24% compared to engineered products with 8.5%. The third sector with the higher export rate was petroleum. Nevertheless, gems and jewellery declined by 5.18%.
