You have heard about plans to build new apartments in a public park near your home. You want to give your opinion about this. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. In your letter
1. Explain how you learnt about these plans
2. Say what you think of the park
3. Give your opinion on the plans
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to bring you to the notice that there is a planning to construct new infrastructure in a one and only left vacant place of the areas like ‘Will Street’ and ‘Bill Street’. I think the idea will get the negative outcome on the near side community using the park.
Firstly, nearby community had hardly convinced their children to play outdoor rather than stuck in the indoor technological games. Therefore, if the idea got applied then the toddlers will again make computer and mobile their leisure passing tool.
Secondly, senior citizens who live nearby used this park as gathering arena where the gather around for doing exercise and chit chats. However, this plan will make them lonely. Moreover, youth is also using this park for morning exercise and evening gatherings.
To summarize, in my opinion the idea behind the park destruction will hamper the locals living nearby to great extent. I request you to publish one article pertaining the issues I mentioned to you to aware the government about these negative repercussions in your esteem newspaper.
Hope to receive the positive response from you.
Yours faithfully,
Sunny
