The two pie charts compare the percentage of factors that undergraduates and postgraduates take into consideration before choosing vaster university.
As can be seen from the first chart, reputation is the main reason with 30% undergraduates decide to go to Vaster university while the figure for cost is 6% lower. The personal recommendation also plays an important role as 20% of undergraduate students are influenced by it. By comparison, the impact of location and accommodation is less significant(10%, 9% respectively)and the lowest figure, 7%, belongs to the other reason.
According to the second chart, the reputation of university still occupied the leading places with 42% of postgraduate interviewees give priority to it when they choose Vaster university. More than a quarter of postgraduates view the cost as an important factor. With regards of students who value personal recommendation, location and accommodation, they represent 7%, 6% and 3% of the postgraduate group. The remained 6% is attributed to other unidentified reasons.
Overall, reputation and cost are two of the main concerns when students choose vaster university while relatively less students take location and accommodation into consideration.
