The bar chart compares male and female did regular physical activity in different age group in the year of 2010 in Australia.
Overall, we can see that the percentage of women who exercised regularly is much higher than men. However, completely different trend can be seen if we look at the specific figures for the youngest group aging between 15 and 24 years old.
Women in 45 to 54 age group has the highest record, roughly with 53.3 percentage, while there is a gap between male and female, at about 10 per cent. In the older group, the gap narrows as people aged, and both gender finally experienced nearly the same figures in their 65 and over.
The number of boys who aged 15 to 24 who did physical activity regularly took over the number of girls who in the same age, respectively 52.8% and 47.7%. After ten years period, the situation reverses clearly. The proportion of female workout regularly see an obvious higher than the number of male which is around 42.2%. Moreover, the group between 35 and 44 of men has a lowest record shown on the chart.
