The table informs about alterations in mode of travel in England throughout 1985-2000. Overall, the most chosen travel mode was by car in both years, whilst the least was taxi. The average distance in miles in all modes were more in 2000 than 1985.
According to the table the travelled distance for each person on foot was 255 miles in 1985, however it was decreased a little in 2000. As for traveling by bike, it's medium length in miles almost equal in both years.
In regards to bus - one of mode of travel the higher points can be seen in local bus with 429 miles in 1985, but it fell to 274 miles in 2000.
