go green
In this set of materials, the article and lecture both discuss go green policy. The writer strongly postulates that with this strategy people can reduce the carbon monoxide level in their environment by reducing waste production and increasing recycle products usage. However, the lecturer mentions that though this policy could be beneficial to earth but before realizing that few points need serious considerations.
First anf foremost, the writer begins by asserting that with going green environmental pollution can be reduced. It will not only control the waste production, but it also provides the time for nature to nurture back to a normal level. On the other hand, the lecturer contradicts these points by insisting that go green policiy would not be effective with a single person's efforts. To be specific, It required mutual efforts of thousands of people and companies because waste production is result of multiple resources. Moreover, it is hard to convince such large number of multiple companies. As a result this approach is not realistic.
Furthermore, the lecturer posits that eco friendly products would not bring any profits to the company as they will loos the customers rather than gaining their trusts. This is due to the fact that eco friendly products' production would not be cheaper for companies. In order to balance their finance, companies increase the price of their products. Hence, customers will not utilize their services. This claim clearly refutes the writer implication that by producing eco friendly products company gains profits and wins customer' trust.
Ultimately, the writer wraps up the arguments by declaring that by going green people will not only save their environment but can also save their electricity costs. he gives the example of solar panels use to illustrate that. Not surprisingly, the lecture takes an issue with that by contending that solar panels installation would not be economical for customers. In addition their electricity bills would be skyrocketed after paying maintenance services for these soler panels. No one wants to spend that much money.
