Escalate the complaint to Police Commissioner about this incident.
In your letter
- Introduce yourself
- Describe what happend
- Say what you want Police Commissioner to do for you
Dear Mr Smith,
I am Mr Shreyas Parab, resident of Indralok Bhayander East. I travel across the country for the profession, and many times I disembark at the airport late at night.
Recently, at 01.00 am on the 15th of April, police detained me near S.K. Stone signal while driving back home from the airport. I showed them all the required documents, but officer Mr Sam misbehaved and spoke vulgar. He started asking for additional proofs, which are of no concern, moreover, he collected my driving license and car keys. My vehicle was checked twice and made me halt for one hour without any obligations.
I appreciate the work and ethics followed by the police department, but I request you to enquire about the incident and to check the video recordings near the signal and take necessary actions for the misconducts of officers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Shreyas Parab
