The first pie chart below compares the data about how energy is consumed in a normal household in Australia, while the second one is present the figures on the emission of greenhouse gas which are caused by this consumption. In general, heating and water heating account for the highest percentage in the use of household energy and the amount of greenhouse gas that emitted.
It could be easily observed from the first chart that an Australian consumes a considerable amount of power for heating activities that take with over 40 percent. Takes the second position, 30 percent of energy is used for heating water. Power for other appliances in 15 percent in total, at the third position. Cooling, lighting, and refrigeration consume the amount of energy, ranges from 2 to 7 percent.
In comparison, the number of energy use, those of greenhouse gas emission are completely different. Water heating and the use of home appliances released around 30 percent of greenhouse gas each. Around 15 percent of power is for each activity, heating, and refrigeration. Cooling and heating take not over 10 percent
