The diagram illiustrates the recycling methods of Aluminium cans. Overall, the whole recycling process consists of around seven stages where used cans are collected and then converted in the form of sheets after that those cans are send to the various companies, to put them in use as per their product requirement.
At first stage used cans are collected by a Garbage truck and then those cans are send for the sorting and cleaning in order to remove the smell and dirt. After which they are shredded and compressed. Moreover, as we know that aluminium is malleable it is further heated and melted to reshape.
Furthermore, rolls are made of Aluminium sheets from melted metal liquid whose thickness varied from 2.5mm to 6 mm. Last but not least those sheets are send to multifarious beverages industries where they are transformed into desired shapes. In fact, in the United Kingdom 74 % of the cans are recycled ones.
