The chart displays how much carbon was produced by six different countries over the period of 30 years, starting from 1975.
Overall, it is clear that the carbon emissions output witness an increasing trend in four countries except Germany and the UK, which were the countries that managed to lessen the carbon emissions output over the period shown.
Looking first at the carbon output in the USA, there was a steady increase from 1,200,000 in 1975 to 1,550,000 in 2005, which was the largest amount of carbon all three years. This was followed by China, which experienced a significant growth from 250,000 in 1975 to just 650,000 before more than doubling again to roughly 1,600,000 in 2005.
By contrast, less carbon was made by remain countries. The missions output from Germany witnessed a slight fall to 200,000 in 2005, after maintaining at 250,000 from 1975 to 2000. Likewise, the quantity of carbon in the UK decreased insignificantly from 190,000 to 180,000 at the period. Canada by far produced the least carbon compared with other nations, with its figure increasing from 50,000 in 1975 to match the UK in 2005. India increased uniformly from 50,000 to 250,000 at the same time.
