The bar chart below shows the percentage of Austalian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010. Summarise the information by selcting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
This given chart illustrates the ratio of Australian people of both genders in various age gaps who exercise regularly 11 years ago.
Generally, in the younger days, men tended to work out more than women, whereas the ladies enjoyed practicing in quiet old age. However, the subjects of this survey are divided into 2 groups: the younger one (aging between 15 and 44) and the older one ( aging from 45 and so on).
Firstly, in the most frivolous 9 years of a human being's life (between15 and 24), men exercised quite hard with the rate of 52.8%, whereas simultaneously, females only reached the percentage of 47.7, 5.1% lower. In the next age gap, from 25 to 34, there was a dramatic decrease in male statistics with the difference of 10.6% and kept on falling to 39.5% in the 35-to-44 age gap. Despite this, the female percentage climbed steadily and negligibly from 47.7% to 48.9%, then to 52.5% at the same time.
Furthermore, in the older age gap, people witnessed a growth of men percentage after the decline in the younger times with the statistic of 43.1% to 45.1% and continued steadily increasing to 46,7%. The female ratio, which was completely contrasted to men's one, saw a slight drop of 0,3%, then suddenly fell to 47.1%, 5.9% lower than before.
