The line graph demonstrates data of the number of people who visited four different international museums from 1980 to 2015.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that, as time goes on the number of visitors to the Louvre and Vatican museums grew, while the opposite trend was seen in the case of the London Science Museum.
To begin with the upgoing trend, in 1980, 8 million people went to the Louvre museum to see the collections. On the other hand, almost 5 million visited the Vatican museums, after that, the number was increasing linearly and in 2015 the number rose to approximately nine million. In the case of the Louvre museum, from 1995 to 2000 the number climbed down from 9 to 8.5 million, then it began to rise and in 2015, ended at nine and a half million.
Turning to the others, for the London Science Museum, the number was remaining level off at 4 million from 1980 to 1985. After five years the number rapidly decreased to approximately 3.25 million. Then it gradually downgraded and in 2015 only 2.1 million people visited this museum. From the beginning till to 2000, it slipped down from 3.9 to 3.2, then it started to upgrade and finished at the same amount of beginning.
