The bar chart illustrates the payment on consumer goods of two different countries, namely France and the UK in 2010
Overall, it can be seen from the chart, the French has lower spending than the British. Additionally, while the British spent money on cars, books and cameras, the French seemed to spend more on computers and perfume.
In terms of cars, there were 450000 pounds spent in England the number was 400000 pounds for the French. When it comes to books, amount of money spent by the French was around 300000, although people in England spent 400000 pounds. Moreover, the spending figures for cameras in France were only 150000, while the British spenders used over 350000 pounds.
Regarding computers , people in France used around 380000 pounds, about 80000 more than the average spending of people in Great Britain which was approximately 300000 pounds. With reference to perfume, the French spent 200000 pounds, compared to under 150000 pounds of the British spenders.
