Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar chart gives information about the levels of air pollution and various reasons behind it in China, America, Japan, and Australia in the year 2021.
Overall, China is the most polluted country with significant figures while Australia has the best quality of air.
In China, the main cause of pollution is pollutants from industry with 80 PPM, whereas other factors including transportation and electricity generation account for 70 PPM and about 60 PPM, respectively. The same is also true for Japan when manufacturing plays a major role in causing contamination (over 40 PPM), followed by the two remained sources. However, the biggest difference is that the figure for Japan’s leading factor is merely half of China’s.
It can be seen that conveyance is the principal reason why America becomes the second most contaminated nation, making up nearly 60 PPM. Generating electricity and industry have the same figures, about 30 PPM each. Interestingly, in Australia, both three sectors causing air pollution have the same levels, approximately 20 PPM.
