The diagram shows the life cycle of a honey bee
The picture illustrates the various stages of a honey bee
From an overall perspective, a honey bee can live for 34 to 36 days, grows through 5 stages in its life. A honey bee’s life cycle begins with the laying of the eggs and ends with the maturity of the honey bee.
At the first stage, adult female honey bees lay their eggs in their nets every three days. Then, it takes the eggs 9-10 days to hatch, the new - hatched honey bee which is known as a nymph emerges. The nymph then grows larger in size and moults three times in its life after approximately 5 days, 7 days, and 9 days.
In the following stage, the young adult appears once the honey bee finishes moulting. Finally, after 4 days, the honey bee becomes bigger and mature. Afterward, the full-grown honey bee begins to reproduce and the life cycle starts again.
