The plans provide us information about Grange park when is was opened in 1920, and the way it has changed until now.
Overall, as it is obvious from maps, the park has been expanded with more amenities in number and size. Also it changed its look from a traditional park to a more contemporary one with modern facilities.
To begin with, it had a rose garden in the north-west of the park, but the number of rose gardens has increased to three in east and south corner of the park, and instead of a rose garden in the north-east a new café has been erected. The fountain in center of the park has been replaced by a rose garden. Also, in the past there were five seats in all locating in each side of the Grange, whereas they all have been demolished and centralized in the middle around the rose garden. Following by, stage for musicians in the west is developed to an amphitheatre for concerts, and a new entrance underground car park is been considered in the left side of the park. Finally, pond for water plants and glasshouse are destroyed and in their place a new children’s area and water feature have been built.
