The diagram illustrates, the development of the science Park from 2008 to today. Overall, the major modifications were done on the upper portion of the map on the northwest side, and the opening of the new cycle path.
In 2008, the science park was occupied with more greenery than today with plenty of grasslands, and woodland on a given map. Other than the office and reception, there were only three centres such as business units, IT centre and cyber security. Similarly, there was a car parking area in the middle to reach from three centres. A road transportation facility was also available which is interconnected from north to east and west. Furthermore, there was a railway line in the south region.
However, dramatic changes happened in today's science park over the years. The new research and development building was built on the Freeland covered with grass and woodlands. Office and business units were kept in the same area though, the reception was replaced to the University hub. Moreover, they built a new cycle path along with the road, and bus station on the east side and a railway station on the south. Likewise, the IT centre moved to the innovation centre and there is a common path connected to each building through the car parking area. Cyber security block was recently extended to the upper side, after the clearance of some grassland in the southeast corner.
