The diagram below shows the process of recycling glass bottles
The diagram illustrates how glass bottles are recycled.
As it can be seen in the diagram that, in the first stage, used bottles are collected at the collection point. Then, it is transported by trucks to the cleaning plant for next stage. The second stage begins with the process of cleaning all glassed under high-pressure water and then, they are categorized in three types such as brown, green and clear bottle. After that, the separated bottles are moved to the recycling plant where all bottles broken down into small pieces. The process continues with the burning these pieces under high temperature in furnaces to produce liquid. Then the recycled glass liquid and the new liquid glass are shaped in a glass mould to make new bottles.
At the final stage, these new bottles are used to contain products and shipped to supermarkets for consumptions.
Clearly, the whole process consists three stages, from collecting waste glass bottles to delivering products in new glasses to retail stores, such as supermarkets.
