Essay topics:

The two maps below show the road access to the hospital in 2007 and 2010. Summarize the information by selecting the main features, and making comparisons where relevant.

The diagrams illustrate significant changes in ways to enter the city hospital in three years, from 2007 to 2010.

Overall, it was difficult to enter the hospital at first but later became easier because of the added infrastructure. Similarly, the other facilities were constructed, making accession to the hospital more convenient and comfortable.

In 2007, there had been only one main road towards the hospital, with several bus stops along the two sides. To the east of the hospital road, the staff and public had to share the same car park, which could only be entered through from a ring road surrounding the building.

However, considerable changes had happened by 2010. To support the traffic, two roundabouts were added in order to prevent congestion. Furthermore, people then could enter the hospital from the second channel through the new bus station, which was composed of those former bus stops. It also became more pleasant for drivers to access the hospital because there was no need to share the car park anymore as the new public car park had been built to the east of the ring road.
