The bar chart shows the percentage of small, medium, large companies which used social media for business purposes between 2012 and 2016
The bar chart given illustrates the proportion of social network usage for business intention by firms differed in size.
Overall, large firms occupied the most presence on the social network, whereas it was the least favorite to small firms. Over 5 years, small and medium companies were the ones to have changed the most with almost doubling at the end of the period.
In the first 3 years, all businesses got an increase in their social network usage. Small firms got steady growth, starting at over a quarter and reaching nearly 35 percent, while Medium companies accelerate by 20 percent. On the contrary, the large businesses experienced a slight dip after 3 years.
In the remaining years, all businesses, except for the small one, reported a drastic fall at first in 2015, except for the small one. Following this, interestingly, small, medium, and large companies all got recovered and skyrocketed in 2016, reaching their peak at approximately a half, over a half, and roughly 80 percent respectively.
