The bar charts give information about what graduate and post-graduate students did after leaving college if they did not do full-time work. The data was collected in the UK in 2008. Overall, most of the graduates and postgraduates in the UK did further study after leaving college while there were not many students doing voluntary work.
It can be easily seen that further study was done by far more graduates when finished in college, about nearly 30,000 students, which was nearly 10 times higher than those choosing the voluntary work. Following that, 17,735 students did part-time jobs and about 16,000 students were unemployed.
Similarly, most of the postgraduates did further study and a few of them chose voluntary work, about 2,725 students and 345 students, respectively. While the data gap between doing part-time work and being unemployed in graduate students was not large, that of postgraduates was huge. The number of students who did part-time work was 1.5 times higher than that of unemployed students.
