TASK 1 IELTS Indian Restaurants

The bar chart gives a breakdown of the figure of the Indian restaurants in the UK in over five decades from 1960 to 2015.
As can be explicitly observed from the chart, there was an upward trend in the number of restaurants at the end of the period. However, it surged mostly in the first 40 years and witnessed the fluctuation in the next 15 years.
For the first four decades, the number of Indian restaurants recorded a frequently dramatic growth around ten-folds (below 1000 to approximately 8000 restaurants).
It had continually rose to below 10000 restaurants and it reached the perk as well. In the 2007 phase the chart shown the oscillation in the next eight years.
