car uses of three countries from 2003 to 2009
The table provides a comparison of the number of cars used in three different nations between 2003 and 2009.
Overall, people in Thailand used much more cars than those in Australia and Argentina during the period shown. It is also evident that Argentina is the only country that saw a decrease in car uses, while the figure for two other countries experienced an upward trend.
As can be seen from the table, in 2003, there were 400,000 cars used in Argentina, twofold of Australia’s figure, at 200,000 cars. Meanwhile, the number of cars in Thailand stood at 700,000, significantly higher than those in other countries.
Thailand witnessed a peak of 1,119,000 cars used in 2005, but finally declined gradually to 999,000 in 2005. In contrast, there was a fall by half to 200,000 cars in the number car use in Argentina in the year of 2005, it then went down steadily to 161,000 cars by 2009. Over the period, the figure for Australia witnessed a consistent increase and reached the figure of 600,000 in the year of 2009.
