The graphs give information about average house prices in England and other parts of the world.
The given bar charts illustrate the average house costs in 1995 and 2013 in England and its capital- London, as well as comparing the average house prices between 6 different areas of England in 2013.
Overall, as can be seen from the first graph, the house prices in both England and London witnessed an upward trend. It is also apparent that standard houses in London cost much higher than remaining areas.
In 1995, the average price of a house in London was over 125000 £. This number increased significantly by around 75000£ to 200000£ 18 years later. A roughly similar trend was seen in the figure for house cost in England in general, where it soared twice to approximately 400000£ at the end of the period.
The average house price in 2013 was the highest in London, at 400000£, followed by South East, at around 300000£. In South West and North West, these numbers were 275000£ and 200000£, respectively. In contrast, the costs were much lower in Midlands and North West, with the figure at only around 100000£.
