The number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005
According to the bar chart showing the number of students in college choosing subjects in 2005, we can see the gender disparity between subjects. It can be stated specifically: sciences have twice as many males as females, and mathematics has only about a quarter of the number of females, as well as in literature the number of females less than males students and finally, in law, we can see that the number of females students is only half of the number of male students. However, in subjects such as social sciences, languages and the arts+, the number of female students outnumbered the male students: 2.3 times, 3.1 times and 1.5 times, respectively. In addition, in humanities, the number of male students is equal to the number of female students. According to the bar chart above, we can see the relationship between the gender of students and the subjects at the university level.
