The given map illustrates how a residence hall changed from 2010 to the present.
Overall, it is clear that the residence hall witnesses a significant modernization. Most noticeably, car parking is converted into a garden, the addition of en-suite room and the increase in student bedroom.
In 2010, there were three gardens on the map including two located in the north and south, and the smaller one is next to the living room. Looking at the northeast of the area, there was a student bedroom, follow down there is a kitchen and another student bedroom. On the westward, there were a student bedroom and bathroom.
Now, the living room and the small garden in the north are replaced by new two student bedrooms, while the student bedroom in the north-east is remained unchanged. In the east, the kitchen adds a new area that is the social area, while in the south-east the student bedroom has remained stable, however, there is a new en-suite room are constructed next to the student bedroom. Finally, the student bedroom and the bathroom on the west remained at the same position.
