The given line chart illustrates how many people go to cinemas on different days in a European country.
Overall, it is clear that the number of people visiting cinemas is mostly on Saturdays. Meanwhile, there is the least number of people going to cinemas on Monday, and the percentage of people who go to cinemas on Friday is the same over three years.
In 2003, the proportion of people who visit cinemas on Saturdays is around 40%. And this figure for 2003 continued to increase significantly to 45% in 2005 and decreased slightly to 42% in 2007. While the percentage of people visiting cinemas on Friday and Sunday was similar, about 30% in 2003. Meanwhile, in 2005, Friday was the day when the number of people visiting the cinema rose to 35% and declined to 32% in 2007.
Looking at the other days, the rate of people who go to cinemas on Tuesday is only 20% and this figure dropped slightly to 18% and 19% from 2005 to 2007, in comparison with the proportion of people going to other days, only under 20% in all years.
