The given chart illustrates how many kilometer billions the passengers traveled by 5 types of transporting means from 1990 to 2000.
Overall, there was an increase in the total of traveling kilometer billions by means of transport, which was the result of rises in the kilometers by plane, bus and train. In addition, the number of kilometer billions traveled by bicycle and motorbike saw a decline, making both be the least popular means of transport.
Only 100 kilometer billions were traveled by all of different means of transport in 1990, which saw a significant increase to over 110 kilometer billions after 10-year period. A similar change was seen in the figures for kilometers traveled by train, which started at 40 billions, followed by an increase to around 47 billions.
The number of kilometers traveled by plane and bus experienced the similarly slight increase, which started at around 5 and 45 billions to about 7 and 47 billions in the last year respectively. In contrast, the figures for the passenger kilometers used bicycle and motorbike decreased slightly to approximately 4 and 5 billions in 2000.
