The maps depict alterations to the transport infrastructure of a city hospital between 2007 and 2010.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that there were three significant alterations, including intersection upgrades, expanded parking, and improved bus facilities.
Initially, in 2007, the Hospital Road leading to the main facility which had three bus stops on either side, was connected to City Road and Ring Road surrounding the hospital. Located east of Hospital Road was a car park for staff and visitors.
By 2010, the most striking change was the erection of two new roundabouts: one at the T-intersection of Hospital Road and City Road and the other at the four-way junction of Hospital Road and Ring Road. In addition, the existing bus stops were removed to make way for a new bus station located West of Hospital Road with connections to both newly built roundabouts. Finally, regarding parking, a new public car park accessible by Ring Road was established on the eastern side of the hospital, while the old parking lot became a staff-exclusive one.
