The line graph illustrate the amount of 5 food items(vegetable ,fruit, meat, bread ,seafood) consumed in Australia between 1950 and 2010. Overall, the consumption of some food increased where as some had a sharp decline in the consumption and seafood showing minimal changes. Units are measured in kg per person per year.
At the start of period, bread was the most popular till 2nd decades, along side fruit which also showed a decline after the first decade, Vegetables and meat being the less popular food item it showed sharp decline till the 2nd decades and till the first decade respectively, seafood showing less trends.
With regards to the amount of bread consumed till 1970 was almost 70kg and then fell to almost 50kg till the year 2000 after this it began to rose. Likewise, 90kg of fruit was consumed till 1960 before falling to 80kg in the year 1970 and then dramatically increasing to 140.
On the other hand, vegetables was the most fluctuated food item, stared with a dip to 120kg till the year 1970 before rising again to 140kg in the year 1980, getting declined again to 120kg in the 1990 and then increasing dramatically to 160 in the year 2010. The 2nd most fluctuated food item was meat, started with decline which was in between 90kg-99kg in the year 1950, and then increases till 100kg in the year 1970 before dropping in the year 1980 which was same as 1950, started increasing again to almost 120kg before continuing falling till the year 2010 to almost 80kg
