The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007
The line chart gives information about the number of foreign travelers in three types of areas in a particular nation in Europe from 1987 to 2007.
In general, the coast was the most common place of tourist attraction, while mountainous areas had an opposite trend. Overseas people visiting lake areas had a downward trend.
In 1987, the figure for visiting coast areas accounted for 40,000 visitors, compared to only 20,000 travelers visiting mountainous areas. 10,000 native visitors traveled to the mountains fewer than to the coast, at 35,000 and 25,000 respectively. In the next 10 years, the coast had a significant increase in the number of foreign travelers by 25,000 visitors before outlooking the figure of lake traveling, whereas the number of mountainous areas went up remarkably to 30,000 in 2001. People visiting the coast continually rose to over 75,000, and 35,000 foreign travelers visited the coast of this European country in 2007.
Experiencing the lake area had exactly 10,000 visitors in the first year and continually rose over the first fifteen years, peaking at 75,000 visitors in 2002. This figure then dropped back down to approximately 50,000 people in 2007.
