Overall, most people tend to attend to the cinema at the weekend. Friday was a day with a high percentage of cinema goers. However, other days in the week tended to have a low number of people enjoying the movie.
To begin with, the number of cinema goers was in an upward trend from 35% to 40% on Saturday and 30% to nearly 35% on Sunday between 2003 and 2005. But the figures rose by approximately 5% at the weekend in 2007. Fridayshad a stablee trend with 30% of cinema goers during three years.
During 2003-2007, the proportion of people going to the cinema on Mondays increased from 10% to 15%, and declined by 3%. Contrast with Tuesday, it was 20% in 2003 then declined down in 2005 and increased again in 2007.
