The two charts given describe the export of world pineapple by the top three pineapple-producing nations in the ten-year period following with the breakdown of the cost to the consumer of each one in the year 2019. Overall, the country that reached the highest number of pineapples in 2019 was country A and country B was the second, whereas country C exported the fewest number of pineapples regard to the bar graph. For the pie chart, the distribution and retail prices made the most segment but the export costs accounted for the lowest in 2019.
As it can be seen in the bar graph, country A had approximately 1.5 metric tonnes of exported pineapples and reached a peak at a little above 10 metric tonnes in 2019. Secondly, country B delivered about 4.2 metric tonnes of pineapples which was higher than country A in 2009. However, it dropped to nearly 2.8 metric tonnes ten years later. In comparison to country A and B, country C exported fewest pineapples as it only transported 0.5 metric tonnes in 2009 and increased slightly to 1 metric ton after ten years.
As it is shown clearly in the given pie chart, the costs for distribution and retail accounted for 35% which was the highest percentage among the other prices in 2019. The profit which comes to the second place which was 13% smaller compared to the first one and the taxes was 2% lower than the profit. In addition, the proportion of international transport as well as the import licenses fees were not as high as the taxes: only 12% and 10 each. The producer cost with the percentage of 5 percent being seen as a low proportion but it was export costs which were the lowest percentage for just 4 percent.
